ANTONOVICH PROVIDES SUPPORT TO SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER SERVING THE ANTELOPE VALLEY
LOS ANGELES COUNTY — The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in the Antelope Valley has been provided a $25,000 grant to support small business in the region, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
“Small business is the engine of our economy,” said Antonovich. “Their success is vital to create jobs in our communities and to stimulate economic growth and vitality.”
The Center provides workshops, trainings, one-on-one consulting engagements, networking and other resources to the business community with the objective of helping those businesses get started, grow, increase sales, obtain capital and create jobs. Additionally, they provide two quarterly trainings and development events in the Antelope Valley on key business topics.
The Small Business Development Center’s main location is at the University of Antelope Valley’s main campus in Lancaster, and has a satellite at the South Valley Worksource Center in Palmdale.
