LOS ANGELES COUNTY — At the Board of Supervisors meeting today, Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich welcomed members of Junior Statesmen of America (JSA), from John Burroughs High School in Burbank, winners of the 2014 National Civic Impact Award. The award recognizes chapters that make a significant impact on increasing civic awareness and engagement at their school and in their community. Founded in 1934, JSA is the nation’s oldest student-run youth organization.
