LOS ANGELES COUNTY — Mayor Michael D. Antonovich, his Chief Deputy Kathryn Barger, County Librarian Margaret Donnellan Todd, along with members of the Castaic area and the West Ranch town councils dedicated the new Stevenson Ranch Library and the Castaic Library.
The Stevenson Ranch library will be open 6 days a week: Monday thru Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Castaic library will be open will be open 6 days a week: Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“These new state-of-the-art libraries will provide young and old in our Santa Clarita Valley -communities access to books, computers and other vital educational materials,” said Mayor Antonovich.
The Stevenson Ranch Library will include computers with internet access, four early literacy computers for children, a community meeting room, and free wi-fi for county library cardholders.
The Castaic Library will include computers with internet access, a community meeting room, a children’s area, study room for teens, and a separate study area for adults.
